Marko Rog says Cagliari “never give up” after they came back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Sassuolo.
Sassuolo looked to be in a comfortable position at half-time, but Cagliari eventually came away with a point and Rog revealed what changed at the break.
“We never stopped believing,” the midfielder told Tuttomercatoweb. “We suffered too much during the first half.
“At the break, in the dressing room, we said we would give our all to come back and we succeeded.”

Daniele Ragatzu came off the bench in the 78th minute to score the equaliser for Cagliari – his first in Serie A.
“We are all very happy for him. He deserves this joy because he always gives 100 percent in training.
“Now we need to continue to improve, we are never full. I am happy with the consistency I am showing, I feel very comfortable in this group of players and at this club.”
Cagliari regained fourth place and face Lazio, who are directly above them in the table, this weekend.
