Ricardo Rodriguez says it was his “dream” to sign for Milan, and recommends picking him in fantasy football.

The left-back has joined the Rossoneri from Wolfsburg, and is expected to make his debut in a friendly with Lugano tonight.

“Milan made a great impression on me,” Rodriguez told Gazzetta dello Sport.

“They’re a very good team and I know I can improve tactically and in a thousand other things here. I like to learn.

“I wanted Italy and now I’m happy, this was my dream. There were two or three clubs looking at me, but when Milan came in I had no doubts.

“I think I’m going to play at left-back, they were following me and that’s my main position. Milan know though that I played in the centre for six months, so I’m ready if they need me there.

“A three or four man defence? Montella is testing a four, always a four.”

Rodriguez is known for his free-kicks, will he or Hakan Calhanoglu be taking them?

“He or I can both take them… We’ve both scored a lot in the past, so whoever feels better will hit it. There’s a lot of quality here, so others can take them too.

“Would I recommend picking me in fantasy football? Yes! I don’t know how the game works in Italy, but I’d recommend myself!”
