Torino full-back Ricardo Rodriguez is reportedly in negotiations for a transfer to Galatasaray.

According to Cuore Toro, the Switzerland international is edging closer to a move that will be worth in the region of €2m plus performance-related bonuses.

More developments are expected over the next few days.

Rodriguez turns 29 next month and plays primarily as a left-back, but can also be a left wing-back or a central defender.

He joined Torino for €1.95m in September 2020 and his contract with the Granata runs to June 2024.

Toro gave Rodriguez only 16 Serie A appearances last season and two in the Coppa Italia.

Rodriguez scored nine goals in 86 senior caps for Switzerland and featured for them at UEFA EURO 2020, playing practically every minute of their tournament on the way to the quarter-finals.

That included a penalty that was saved by Hugo Lloris during the Round of 16 fixture against France, which Switzerland went on to win in a shoot-out.
