With Gennaro Gattuso at Napoli now, Milan full-back Ricardo Rodriguez’s agent warns he wants to leave in January. “He has to play and would follow Gattuso anwhere.”
The Switzerland international left-back has lost his place in the team this season, managing only four Serie A appearances, the most recent on September 21.
“From January onwards, he needs to play, because Euro 2020 is coming up and Ricardo wants to be a protagonist for his country,” agent Gianluca Di Domenico told Radio Marte.

“From January onwards, he needs to play, because Euro 2020 is coming up and Ricardo wants to be a protagonist for his country,” agent Gianluca Di Domenico told Radio Marte.
“Ricardo wants to experience that tournament as a protagonist and needs help from his club to achieve that. He isn’t having much space with Milan lately, and from the discussions we’ve had to the club, we made it very clear he needs to play in the second half of the season.”
Rodriguez could well be following former Milan coach Gattuso to the Stadio San Paolo.
“Ricardo would do anything for Gattuso and go anywhere, even in Serie B. We don’t want to put any pressure on Gattuso, who just took over at Napoli, but if there were a chance, we’d take it.
“After all, Ricardo already had a vacation in Naples, so we are not lying or attempting to ingratiate ourselves if we say he loves Napoli.
“It could be on loan, or sold, but either way we want Rodriguez to play football.”
