Referee designator Gianluca Rocchi has reportedly approved the decisions of Massimiliano Irrati during Juventus vs. Inter.

It was one of the most exciting and controversial games of the season at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday when the Nerazzurri beat Juventus thanks to a Hakan Calhanoglu goal from the spot.

VAR, retaken penalty and controversies: five minutes of madness in Juventus vs. Inter

The Turkey international had to take the spot-kick twice. He missed the first one, but he was given a chance to re-take it because Matthijs de Ligt had entered the box before he touched the ball.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, designator Gianluca Rocchi believes Irratti made no mistakes in Turin on Sunday night, although he sometimes needed help from VAR. Juventus fans appealed for a penalty kick in the second half, but Rocchi believes it is unclear whether Alessandro Bastoni touches Denis Zakaria inside or outside the box.

Rabiot hits out at referee on social media after Juventus vs. Inter

Both Lautaro Martinez and Adrien Rabiot escaped a possible second yellow card during the match and Rocchi believes Irratti was right not to give them their marching order. After the game, the France midfielder was extremely critical of the match official, saying that ‘it’s hard to play 11 vs. 12.’

  3. lol the blind leading the deaf. Simy your vocabulary has declined yet again. First it is Afrika, then Afirka. How about trying to get it right the first time (Africa) numpty dumpty.

  4. The moron and deaf is calling someone out for spelling mistakes while he even cant type a correct Name. How dumb someone can be, u are the best example bro.

  5. Samya seems you are not aware that juve threw a goodbye party for Rocchi on his retirement after all the favours he gave them as a referee. Remember the same ref sent off Sneijder for clapping and sent off other Inter players like Pele, Zlatan, Lucio, Obi etc… But who cares about such facts, keep crying after juve lost to Inter again this season

  6. Bravo Simy your vocabulary is getting a bit better. However you still made some mistakes as “The moron and deaf” is not a coherent sentence, and you put a capital when typing the word name. My only spelling mistake was in fact no error as I refer to you as Simy aka Tammy Ibrahim lol.

  7. Bravo tony, my island apee. It seems u can use some of ur left brain cells. Man u even cant spell my name and now u come with tony abraham? Ur mum must be proud of u Tony aka my mum is my sis and my dad my brother. lol

  8. Ahmedas hossam, my beloved girl. I Missed u. Why should i cry? Juvbe won the last 9 years while inter cant manage two years wihtout referee help. So think every day of me, i will wait for u habibi

  9. lol Juvbe and “apee”. My name is lower cased to separate me from the users on this platform such as Tony and Tony T, donkey kong.

  10. Simy Ibrahima who are Juvbe lol? You call yourself a Juve fan but do not even know who they are and which team is which lol.

  11. Well done Samya, I see you added a B to juve in memory of your trip to Serie B in 2006-2007. Great season when you conquered Rimini, Albinoleffe, Arezzo and the likes.

  12. Samya how dare you talk about ref help? Remember your first Scudetto of those 9? Yes when you stole the title from Milan in 2012. The Muntari goal I am sure you heard of it hun. Remember your Scudetto in 2018 when Orsato failed to send off Pjanic against Inter? Remember your robberies in 19-20 against Genoa, Bologna and Atalanta? When you stole the title from Inter? Just in case you have a poor memory of juve’s thefts, baby.
