The 27-year-old’s career has been revived since his 2010 switch to Italy after spells at Real Madrid, Manchester City and a loan stint at Santos.

“I’m happy to be an important player for Milan,” he told the Corriere dello Sport. “I’m really happy here.

“Boss Massimiliano Allegri knows how to get the best out of me and we play to score as many goals as possible.

“I want to stay here for the next 10 years.”

The Brazilian forward helped the Rossoneri to the Italian title in his first Serie A season, but he has his eyes on a different trophy this term.

“I want to win the Champions League,” he underlined. “It is my dream to score in the Final itself, but for now we have to focus on Fiorentina and Barcelona.”

The San Siro giants take on the Viola in Florence on Saturday and teammate Alexandre Pato is available again after injury.

“He’s on his way and he’ll be in Florence,” Robinho continued. “He’s a player worthy of the Golden Ball…”
