Juventus’ Alex Sandro views compatriots Roberto Carlos and Cafu as examples for him to follow in his career.
The 25-year-old arrived in Turin in 2015, where he has been competing with Patrice Evra for a starting spot in Max Allegri’s line-up. However, he has started all three of Juve’s Serie A matches so far this season.
“I think I am improving each day, thanks to my teammates and the staff,” Sandro said to Serie A’s official television station.
“Serie A is difficult, it is a magical League full of stars.

“There are great technicians and the teams are getting stronger and stronger. Playing in Italy is nice for any player.
“The magic of Juventus? It’s normal to feel this responsibility, it is a prestigious shirt. There are a lot of Brazilians here [Italy], we are very united, from Neto to Hernanes.
“Roberto Carlos is always an example for full-backs, left and right, like Cafu.”
Finally, the defender passed comment on Sunday’s Derby D’Italia against rivals Inter.
“It is a special match, as always. As always, it will be difficult to play it. Our aim is to win, we want to give great joy to our fans.”
