The Italian official has already taken charge of two matches at this summer’s tournament in Brazil, Holland’s victory over Spain and Argentina’s win against Nigeria.
Both of those fixtures came during the Group Stages, so the match in Brasilia represents the 42-year-old’s first taste of knockout action.
