Udinese’s administrative director Alberto Riggoto believes that thousands of Napoli supporters will be in attendance at the Dacia Arena on Thursday evening and a ‘multicoloured stadium’ is to be expected.

It has been estimated that thousands of Partenopei supporters will to make the 1,000 mile round trip to Udine on Thursday to watch their side win the Serie A title at the second time of asking.

Rigotto told Sky Sport Italia ahead of the visit from the champions-in-waiting that 10,000 tickets for the game went on general sale and that he expects the vast majority of those will have been snapped up by Napoli fans.

The Udinese executive was not concerned by the prospect of having several thousand additional visiting spectators in the stands and instead welcomed the idea of the “multicoloured stadium.”

He told the cameras on Tuesday afternoon: “We have 15,000 season-ticket holders at the Dacia Arena, 10,000 further tickets were sold to reach a total of 25,000 and presumably the latter group will be fans from Campania. Our supporters are there anyway, it will be a multicoloured stadium.”

A draw against Udinese on Thursday will be enough for Napoli to be crowned champions. If second-placed Lazio fail to win against Sassuolo on Wednesday, Luciano Spalletti’s side will win the league title regardless.
