Roma have sent Alessio Riccardi to Pescara on loan with option to buy and a counter-option, where he’ll be teammates with Mirko Valdifiori.

The 19-year-old midfielder is a product of the Giallorossi youth academy and still waiting for his Serie A debut.

He’ll be in Serie B for this season with Pescara, where he has moved on loan with option to buy.

Roma also retain a counter-option to bring Riccardi back to the Capital.

He’s not the only new signing for Pescara today, as they also purchased Alessandro Arlotti from AS Monaco, where he’d been in their youth academy since the age of nine.

The creative midfielder and support striker was born in Italy, but moved to France when he was a baby.

The Delfini also snapped up 34-year-old Valdifiori as a free agent after his experiences at Empoli, Napoli, Torino and SPAL.
