Franck Ribery is a free agent after he was released by Fiorentina and is considering proposals from Hellas Verona or Turkish side Karagumruk.

The 38-year-old was not offered a new contract at the Stadio Artemio Franchi this summer and therefore as a free agent could still sign for another club even after the transfer deadline.

According to Sportitalia, the France legend has received two intriguing proposals from very different clubs.

The first is Turkish side Karagumruk, but he is hesitating and would prefer to remain in Italy after two years with Fiorentina.

That could happen, as Hellas Verona are interested in picking up the veteran on a one-year contract with coach Eusebio Di Francesco.

Ribery made 29 Serie A appearances for the Viola last term, scoring two goals and providing seven assists.

Before that, he found the net three times with three assists in 21 Serie A games during the 2019-20 campaign, albeit stalled by a serious ankle injury.
