Franck Ribery insists his priority is to continue with Fiorentina, and according to reports in Italy, La Viola could offer him a two-year deal.

The French star will see his contract expire at the end of the month, and his priority is to remain at the Stadio Artemio Franchi, at least for one more season.

“My priority is to stay at Fiorentina also in the next season, I hope I can continue here, but I am still waiting to discuss it together [with the club],” Ribery told RMC Top of the Foot.

The former Bayern Munich star moved to Florence as a free agent in 2019. He has five goals in 51 appearances with the Tuscans.

According to La Nazione, Fiorentina could offer the 38-year-old a two-year contract extension.

Ribery currently earns €4.5m-a-year at the Artemio Franchi, but it is still unsure whether the Tuscans will offer him the same salary.
