Franck Ribery will reportedly arrive in Salerno tomorrow for his medical visit with Salernitana, before signing a deal with the newly promoted side.

Sky Sport Italia reports the dream is on the verge of being completed, as Salernitana are only formalities away from embracing the French winger.

The 38-year-old, who spent the last two years at Fiorentina, should arrive in Salerno on Monday morning for his medical examinations.

He will then sign the contract with the club, after Ribery’s agent gave the go ahead to the Granata after the latest contractual changes.

Ribery has reportedly given his word and will arrive from Monaco, where he is currently spending time with his family.

Tomorrow, he will fly to Italy, arriving in Naples tomorrow morning and then transferring for Salerno.

Ribery could be officially announced a new Salernitana player tomorrow afternoon and the club has already revealed there will be a team presentation at the Arechi at 15.00 UK time tomorrow.

The former Bayern Munich star will reportedly sign a one-year deal with an option for a further year if the club stays up.
