Salernitana announce their star striker Franck Ribery has sustained an ankle injury during today’s training session.
Ribery sprained his ankle during today’s training and is believed to be in doubt for Saturday’s away clash at Spezia.
Before the break, Salernitana collected their first win in Serie A this season against Genoa.
During today’s training session, Luka Bogdan and Cedric Gondo also had physical issues, suffering muscle injuries.
Ribery joined Salernitana on a free transfer after the end of the summer transfer window.
He had spent two seasons at Fiorentina scoring five goals in 50 appearances.
