Hellas Verona are reportedly in talks with Franck Ribery and the final decision should arrive by the weekend.

The French winger left Fiorentina after 2020-21 and has yet to reach an agreement with a new club, but the veteran doesn’t want to quit and has offered himself to clubs in Italy.

Calciomercato.com reports the former Bayern Munich star had been offered to Milan and Sampdoria, who both rejected the proposal.

Lazio were the third club who were given the chance to sign Ribery, as they struggled to close a deal with Kostic, but Maurizio Sarri opted to sign Zaccagni from Hellas Verona.

Hellas Verona, however, are still in the race for Ribery and the player is willing to join the Gialloblu at the Bentegodi.

The parties are discussing a potential deal and the outlet claims the final answer will arrive by the weekend.

Ribery has turned 38 and spent the last two seasons at the Artemio Franchi, but he struggled with injuries and only contributed five goals in 51 games with the Viola.
