French winger Franck Ribery has arrived in Salerno and headed straight to the headquarters of Salernitana to complete his move to the Granata.
After a stop at the hotel on the Amalfi coast, where the player will spend the next few days, he immediately travelled to the Salernitana headquarters, Calciomercato.com reports.
Ribery has landed in Salerno and is ready to complete his move to the newly promoted side as a free agent, as he was released by Fiorentina after 2020-21.
The 38-year-old thus continues in Serie A, reportedly ready to sign a one-year contract with Salernitana, with the option of a further year in case the team stays up.
The outlet reports Ribery is currently going through the remaining formalities before signing the contract and the team have scheduled a presentation to the press at the Arechi this afternoon.
During the presentation, the club will reportedly introduce the main sponsor for this season’s kits and the French champion is expected to give his first words as a Salernitana player.
