According to Spanish media, Real Madrid are offering €160m for Kylian Mbappé, which could open the door for Cristiano Ronaldo to PSG from Juventus.

This would be the initial step in the domino effect for the final days of the summer transfer session.

El Chiringuito suggests Real Madrid have made an offer of €160m and have requested permission to speak directly with Mbappé to discuss personal terms.

TF1 in France insist that PSG have rejected the opening proposal.

His contract with Paris Saint-Germain is due to expire at the end of this season and the France international is refusing to sign a new deal, even with the arrival of Lionel Messi.

Al-Thani posts Ronaldo-Messi PSG image: ‘Maybe?’

He therefore has to be sold in order to avoid losing him as a free agent next summer.

If Mbappé does leave, then the big name PSG could get to replace him is Cristiano Ronaldo, who is eager to move on from Juventus.

His contract too expires in June 2022 and he is available for just €30m, albeit with a €30m per season salary as well.

Earlier today, a member of the Al-Thani family, who had also broken the Messi news, posted an image of Ronaldo and Messi wearing PSG shirts with the comment: ‘Maybe?’
