While Napoli prepare to formally announce the signing of former Italy, Juventus, Chelsea and Inter tactician Antonio Conte, the club and prospective coach are already considering their moves in the transfer market, and recent reports suggest they could find attacking reinforcements in Bergamo.

Napoli and Conte looking at Cambiaghi

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the Partenopei could look to strike a deal with Atalanta for 23-year-old forward Nicolo Cambiaghi, who has spent the last two seasons on loan with Empoli

That is because 2023 summer signing Jesper Lindstrom has already fallen down the pecking order, and it is not expected that he will be a favourable option for Conte either.

Napoli have already been linked with two other high-profile signings ahead of the summer transfer window. Those include Chelsea-owned former Inter and Roma striker Romelu Lukaku in the event that Victor Osimhen is sold in the next few months.

Meanwhile, in defence, Torino centre-back Alessandro Buongiorno, who is valued in the region of €40m, is being looked at as the long-term successor to Kim Min-jae, who left Napoli to join Bayern Munich in 2023, and who has not since been adequately replaced.
