Multiple sources claim agent Jorge Mendes has confirmed Jose Mourinho is ready to accept the Al-Shabab offer, but only on one condition.
The coach had previously rejected the opportunity to work in the Saudi Pro League because he was determined to see out his Roma contract and hopefully even extend it.
However, he was sacked this week and is therefore free to take on the role at Al-Shabab.
According to Sportitalia and Sky Sport Italia, the negotiations are continuing well with the Saudi Pro League side.
Sports reporter Turki Alghamdi claims he spoke directly with agent Jorge Mendes, who confirmed that Mourinho has given the all-clear to join Al-Shabab, but only on one condition.
The demand is that they are able to bring in ‘star names’ to the club.
Al-Shabab are currently 11th in the Saudi Pro League and have players on their books including Ever Banega, Yannick Carrasco and Roman Saiss.
Other clubs potentially interested in signing Mourinho include Newcastle United.
