Jose Mourinho at Roma

According to reports in Germany, sacked Roma coach Jose Mourinho is learning German and preparing himself to take over at Bayern Munich.

The tactician was fired by Roma last month, despite the fact his contract was due to expire on June 30, as he was replaced by Daniele De Rossi.

He had been expected to return to the Premier League for the likes of Newcastle United or move to the Saudi Pro League, where he had already rejected previous lucrative proposals.

However, Bild chief Christian Falk claims this evening that Mourinho is spending his spare time learning German and gearing up for a new experience in the Bundesliga.

Considering the tension around recent poor results and performances for Bayern Munich, Thomas Tuchel might not necessarily last to the end of the season, in which case Roma did Mourinho a favour by firing him.

Mou already won the League title in Portugal, Italy, England and Spain, so this would allow him to add fifth to his collection.

Carlo Ancelotti remains the only coach in history to have won all five of the major European leagues.

  1. Is this a money thing, because Mou somehow sells out stadiums with awful football? Can this sport sink any lower?
