According to reports this evening, sacked Roma coach Jose Mourinho has given the all-clear to join Saudi Pro League side Al-Shabab.
The Special One confirmed several times he had turned down an extraordinary proposal from Saudi Arabia in order to remain at the Stadio Olimpico.
However, not only did the Giallorossi not propose him a new deal past the contract set to end in June 2023, but they decided to fire him during the January transfer window.
Now that he is free, reporter Turki Alghamdi claims that Mourinho has told Al-Shabab he is ready to join the Saudi Pro League straight away.
The club must first get permission from the Finance Committee of the Ministry for Sport in order to bring in the Portuguese tactician.
Among the players already at the club are Yannick Carrasco, Ever Banega and Roman Saiss.
Al-Shabab have also been trying to bring in Napoli forward Matteo Politano.

Lowly substandard wannabes and pretenders, the likes of pogba and Smalling, got nowhere in Mou’s team.
