According to reports in France, Milan have already reached an agreement worth €18m for Spezia and Poland international defender Jakub Kiwior, who is also wanted by Juventus.

The tall 22-year-old centre-back can also play at left-back or in a defensive midfield role.

He was snapped up by Spezia from MSK Zilina for €2.2m in the summer of 2021 and has been quietly impressive, earning four senior caps for Poland recently.

Footmercato claim that Milan have agreed terms with Kiwior’s representatives and have the upper hand to sign him for €18m, possibly as early as the January transfer window.

However, Juventus are also interested and Spezia are eager to keep the matter in the balance, believing a good performance in the World Cup in Qatar can raise his profile and therefore price-tag even further.

Roma and West Ham United have been linked with Kiwior in the past, but he wanted regular playing time to get his place at the World Cup.
