According to reports in England, Manchester United consider Inter demands for Andre Onana to be excessive and are looking at other options.

Nerazzurri director Beppe Marotta confirmed last night on Sky Sport Italia that they were still waiting for the first formal offer to come in for Onana, even though Manchester United had certainly expressed an interest.

The asking price is €50m guaranteed plus another €10m in various add-ons and bonuses.

Now Mirror Football claim that the Premier League side believe that is too much and are starting to look around at other alternatives to the Cameroon international.

These include Feyenoord shot-stopper Justin Bijlow and Eintracht Frankfurt veteran Kevin Trapp.

Onana was snapped up by Inter as a free agent last summer from Ajax, so any money from sales will count as pure profit to boost their coffers.

He helped them reach the Champions League Final, win the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana.

If Manchester United back out, it could allow Chelsea back into the running for Onana, especially if it would help Inter’s pursuit of Romelu Lukaku.

  1. Onana is expensive because it is united interested. All players are usually, when it is Utd. It’s called The United Tax

  2. Onana is the best keeper available right now and he’s coming off of a great season. Any replacement will be a downgrade for Inter, so they must get maximum cash if they sell. ManU can afford him easily.
