Fiorentina will reportedly let Alban Lafont join Nantes and make Bartlomiej Dragowski their No 1 goalkeeper.

According to multiple sources, Lafont has agreed to return to France with Nantes, where he will replace ex-Fiorentina shot-stopper Ciprian Tatarusanu.

The only sticking point concerns the manner of his move, with Ouest France reporting he will sign for Les Canaris on a two-year loan.

However, FirenzeViola.it writes they are working on a loan deal with an option to buy – which Tuttomercatoweb in turn claims was rejected as the Tuscans want to avoid making a loss on their €8m investment.

The 20-year-old was considered something of a coup for the Viola when they signed him from Toulouse last summer.

He went on to play 34 times in Serie A, but the performances of Dragowski during his loan spell at Empoli seem to have at least earned him a run in Vincenzo Montella’s side.

Goal.com and TMW add Fiorentina are also keen on Mattia Perin, but the latter believes he is likelier to join Roma, paving the way for the Pole to become the starting goalkeeper at the Artemio Franchi next season.
