Juventus and Santos have agreed terms for Kaio Jorge to arrive in Turin, reportedly for €1.5m now and €1.5m in 2022.

The Brazilian club acknowledged they were over a barrel because Juve signed the 19-year-old to a pre-contract agreement and his deal expires in December.

That means Kaio Jorge could either leave as a free agent in six months’ time or they could negotiate to at least get something from the sale.

Santos opted for the latter, with multiple sources reporting tonight that a deal is done for €3m.

While FootMercato have it at €3m, Goal.com specify it’ll be €1.5m now and another €1.5m in 2022.

Juve could also give Santos a five per cent cut of any future transfer fee.

Milan had been in talks with Kaio Jorge for weeks, working out personal terms, but Juve managed to swoop in and get him to sign the pre-contract agreement.

Meanwhile, Benfica had agreed a fee with Santos, but the striker had his heart set on Serie A football.
