Although Arkadiusz Milik and Edin Dzeko remain Juve’s top targets to replace Gonzalo Higuain as their No 9, L’Equipe reported last week that they were also looking at Lacazette.

Now, Le10sport is putting out that the Bianconeri have gone a step further, reaching out to his representatives and Arsenal to assess the feasibility of a transfer.

Reports in France and Italy claim Juventus have opened preliminary talks to sign Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette.

The Gunners paid €53m to sign Lacazette, who turned 29 in May, from Olympique Lyonnais in the summer of 2017.

He has scored 12 goals and provided six assists in 33 appearances this season and still has two years left on his contract.

However, Le10sport – as well as Calciomercato.com – warn he is ready to turn his back on the Premier League club.

CM acknowledges talks have taken place between Old Lady officials and the Frenchman’s camp and even that he is ‘much more than a Plan B’ to Milik and Dzeko.
