Hellas Verona coach Ivan Juric has accepted the job at Torino for the next three years, according to Sky Sport Italia and others.
The Granata were seeking a new tactician after securing their Serie A safety with Davide Nicola, who replaced Marco Giampaolo mid-season.
Juric had already been a target for Toro last summer, but opted to remain with Verona.
The Croatian has been very critical of Verona’s leadership for the lack of investment and failure to make clear they were struggling just to stay in the top flight.
It seems as if Juric has now agreed a three-year deal with Torino worth €2m per season, details confirmed by Sky Sport Italia, Sportitalia, Tuttomercatoweb and others.
This should make him the highest-paid coach in Toro’s history.
The 45-year-old spent his entire coaching career in Italy with Genoa, Palermo, Mantova, Crotone and since 2019 Verona.
He came to Italy as a player for Crotone in 2001 and then represented Genoa from 2006 until his retirement in 2010.
