Sky Sport Italia claim that Paris Saint-Germain have seen their €10m offer to sign Milan Skriniar rejected by Inter, who want €20m to let him leave in January.

It is a dangerous game the Nerazzurri are playing, considering Skriniar has rejected a new contract and his current deal expires on June 30.

They are hoping to avoid losing him as a free agent in the summer by doing a deal with PSG first, but the negotiations remain tense.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the first offer on the table is worth €10m and that was turned down, as Inter want at least €20m.

This would also be roughly the reported signing-on fee that Skriniar would receive from PSG if he did join them as a free agent in July.

Last summer, the Nerazzurri turned down proposals believed to be worth up to €60m for Skriniar, as they were confident he would commit to a new contract.

Skriniar was suspended for today’s 2-1 Serie A win away to Cremonese, so it is possible he has already played his last game for the club.

Regardless, multiple sources are confident Skriniar will be at PSG next season, it’s now a matter of whether he goes this month or in July.
