Reports in Argentina claim Paulo Dybala to Inter is a done deal, as the former Juventus captain has accepted a four-year contract.
It was clear the situation was at an advanced stage last week when Dybala’s agent Jorge Antun was spotted walking into the club headquarters for a meeting with intermediaries, not trying to hide his presence.
The proposal was made and now TyC Sport in Argentina maintain La Joya accepted all the personal terms in a four-year deal.
Dybala is a free agent from June 30, as Juve initially agreed a contract extension and then withdrew their offer, which had been for €10m per season.
He will earn slightly less at Inter, circa €8m per season including the various add-ons and performance-related bonuses.
The set sum is expected to be more like €6m per year at San Siro.
Now the reports in Argentina assure all that’s missing is for Dybala to finish his summer vacation, have a medical and then sign the paperwork.
Although there was interest from abroad, such as Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and PSG, plus Jose Mourinho’s Roma, Dybala had his heart set on continuing in Serie A and joined Juve’s arch-rivals Inter.
