RMC Sport in France expect the Italy international in Paris over the weekend for his medical.

He would be the replacement for Thomas Meunier, who has already made his move to Borussia Dortmund.

Florenzi had gone to Valencia in January on loan, but barely played due to the lockdown, injury and a bout of chicken pox.

Roma coach Paulo Fonseca recently changed his system to three at the back, which could put Florenzi on the right side of midfield, but seemingly still does not see the 29-year-old in his plans.

Florenzi would be the second Italian at PSG after Marco Verratti, while former Inter striker Mauro Icardi is also present.

Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon and Torino shot-stopper Salvatore Sirigu are other Italians who passed through the Parisian club.
