Paulo Dybala has reportedly told Roma that he is ready to discuss a new contract extending his current deal from 2025 to 2027.

According to Calciomercato.com, La Joya had informed Giallorossi director Tiago Pinto that he intends to remain for the long-term at the Stadio Olimpico.

He arrived as a free agent last summer after the contract with Juventus was allowed to run down.

The current deal included a release clause that could be activated at €20m for clubs inside Serie A and €12m for those outside of Italy, but the matter was never pursued.

Now that the transfer window has closed, Dybala is looking to the future and sees that continuing to be with Roma.

His contract runs to June 2025, but the Giallorossi hope to extend it to June 2027.

This would also prompt an increase in the salary to €10m per season, something that Roma hope to negotiate down.
