Reports in Italy suggest that RedBird CEO Gerry Cardinale will attend Milan’s Serie A clash against Venezia in San Siro on Saturday, but advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic is not expected to be in attendance for the second game in a row.

The US-based Cardinale has been in the UK over the last few days for the IMG x RedBird business summit at Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire. He is expected to extend his stay in Europe so that he can watch Milan take on Venezia upon the return of Serie A action this weekend.

According to updates from Calciomercato.com, Cardinale had sent a message of motivation to the players via CEO Giorgio Furlani ahead of the 2-2 draw against Lazio. Now, he wants to show his support by attending in-person.

Ibrahimovic could miss two Milan matches in a row

Thursday evening’s report claims, however, that RedBird advisor Ibrahimovic is unlikely to be in the stands on Saturday.

He also missed the Lazio game due to a clash in his schedule, which had reportedly been booked a long time in advance of the fixtures being released, although other reports claimed that he was on holiday.

Curiously, reports earlier on Thursday suggested that tension was beginning to emerge between RedBird and Ibrahimovic.

Ibrahimovic has been accused of spending more time watching his son train at the Vismara Sports Centre compared to the first team at Milanello.

La Repubblica also hinted at a minor feud between Ibahimovic and Ignazio Abate, and the club were also not particularly pleased by his actions in an online video with YouTuber iShowSpeed.
