Barcelona are on the hunt for a top level left-winger and could make a sensational offer to Milan in an attempt to pinch Serie A star Rafael Leao, according to Tuesday’s reports in Spain.

Barcelona are on the look-out for a new winger after failing to sign Spain talent Nico Williams from Athletic Bilbao earlier in the window.
According to reports from Mundo Deportivo, Leao is the player that Barcelona are most fond of approaching the end of the transfer window. The Portuguese winger is reportedly valued in the region of €90m-€100m.
MD claim that Barcelona’s excellent relationship with Leao’s agent Jorge Mendes could be of benefit to them.
It would not be a straight-forward manoeuvre for Barca by any means, as they would need to offload some of their higher earners and likely sell a few more to raise the cash needed to make a suitable bid.
There are suggestions that the Catalan giants could also look to include at least one of their own players in a player-plus-cash exchange. Raphinha, Ferran Torres, Andreas Christensen, Alejandro Balde and Ignacio Martinez have been mentioned as possible options for a swap deal.
Frenkie De Jong, Ronald Araujo and Ansu Fati could also be made available, but they are all currently injured, which makes a transfer slightly more complicated.
Barcelona have also been linked with possible moves for Juventus outcast Federico Chiesa and Kingsley Coman of Bayern Munich if they are unable to complete a deal for Leao.
