Sky Sport Italia transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano claims that Max Allegri rejected a €20m per year wage deal with Al-Hilal, as he is determined to stay with Juventus.

It has been reported for several weeks that clubs from Saudi Arabia and Qatar are desperate to bring Allegri over, having already invested millions in coaxing players like Kalidou Koulibaly, Cristiano Ronaldo and Ruben Neves.

However, Allegri remains immune to their charms, as Romano insists the coach turned down the offer from Al-Hilal that was worth an extraordinary €20m per year until June 2025.

Al-Nassr had also been linked, but the only firm proposals seem to have come from Al-Hilal.

Allegri listened to the presentation out of politeness, but never had the slightest intention of leaving Juventus, even if this would effectively triple his current wages.

This is his second spell on the Bianconeri bench, having already been their coach from 2014 to 2019, returning in the summer of 2021.
