Sky Sport Italia pundit Fabrizio Romano claims Zinedine Zidane has decided to leave Real Madrid with immediate effect, which could transform Juventus and Inter plans.

According to the Italian transfer specialist, Zidane made the choice to walk away after finishing second in La Liga and crashing out of the Champions League in the semi-final.

This is his second experience as coach of Real Madrid, having left in May 2018 only to return again in March 2019.

His contract was due to run until June 30, 2022.

If true, this could transform the plans at Juventus and Inter, because the Bianconeri have long seen Zidane as their ideal coach.

It would be a return to Turin, where he was a player from 1996 to 2001.

Juve are currently reconsidering Andrea Pirlo’s situation and had been in advanced talks for a Max Allegri comeback.

However, Allegri is one of the candidates for the Real Madrid bench, as is Antonio Conte, who today terminated his contract with Inter by mutual consent.

Conte reportedly signed a clause in the termination deal with Inter ensuring he would not work at another Serie A club this season, so going abroad would be his only choice.

Allegri is also an option for Inter, especially if Simone Inzaghi decides to extend his contract with Lazio.
