Milan have allegedly received the green light by Matias Zaracho and are currently negotiating the price tag for the starlet with his current employer Racing Club.

The attacking midfielder, who can also play on the wing, has been looking for an opportunity in Europe and Calciomercato.com reports that he has given his word to the Rossoneri.

The 21-year-old has played 16 games and contributed four goals so far in 2019-20, whilst being capped eight times in total by the Argentina Under-23 side.

Milan reportedly tried to find a solution already last month, after continuous meetings with his agent Augustin Jimenez, and the outlet writes that the player has given “his go-ahead” for the Diavolo project.

Now, the report claims that Milan are only an agreement with Racing Club away from bringing the Argentine to Milanello next summer, but they are still struggling to meet the set asking price.

Racing are supposedly starting with €25m as their negotiable asking price, while Milan evaluates it as a deal worth €15m.

They could be forced to up the bid, as Calciomercato.com claims there’s also interest from La Liga in Spain.
