Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum is in a hurry to complete his move to Roma, according to reports in Italy.

The Netherlands international has emerged a prime target for Roma boss José Mourinho, reports suggest, but there are likely to be several obstacles to getting a deal over the line.

Reports in France suggest Wijnaldum is not in new PSG boss Christophe Gaultier’s plan.

Il Corriere dello Sport report he is keen on a move to Roma and would like the deal to be sorted out quickly.

Wijnaldum only joined PSG 12 months ago on a free transfer after leaving Liverpool.

The report suggest Roma believe they can land the midfielder on a loan which is free of charge and with half of his salary paid by the Parisians.

However, the report adds Premier League side Everton are also interested in landing Wijnaldum.

The ex-Liverpool midfielder won the Ligue 1 title while at PSG last campaign.
