According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Vrsaljko’s adventure at Inter is ‘over’ after it emerged knee surgery would require six months of recovery.
The Croat joined Inter from Atleti on a €6.5m loan with a €17.5m option to buy but has been limited to just 13 appearances this season.
The Nerazzurri have since replaced him with fellow right-back Cedric Soares.
