Villar was forced to stop training due to a first-degree sprain in his left knee, but later returned to Rome for treatment.

Calciomercato.com reports he will need three to four weeks to recover from the issue and will thus be out for at least the first two games in the UEFA Europa Conference League and Serie A.

But it’s likely that he will be back after the first international break, which means he could also skip the game against Salernitana.
