There are reports in Chile that Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal wants a return to Italy, but would prefer Juventus to Antonio Conte’s Inter.

The 33-year-old is one of the players on the market this summer and, as his contract only runs to June 2021, is in negotiations to terminate his contract early by mutual consent.

Conte made no secret of his desire to sign the Chile international last season and it’s believed the reason Inter backed out of their deal for Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali is that he preferred Vidal.

However, Chilean newspaper La Cuarta claim they spoke to a member of Vidal’s entourage, who told them the player is more tempted by Juventus than Inter.

Not only would it be a return to Turin, but he’d be working with former teammate Andrea Pirlo, who is now the Bianconeri coach.

He’d also get the chance to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and believes he has a better chance of winning the Champions League at Juve than Inter.
