Cristiano Ronaldo

Manchester United have reportedly offered around €28m to free Cristiano Ronaldo from Juventus and are preparing a deal worth £25m a season for the striker.

The Portuguese superstar seemed set to join rivals Manchester City and risked destroying his legacy with the Red Devils in the process.

But the story has developed today and Manchester City are reportedly out of the race, as they hoped to sign the Portugal captain on a free transfer.

Juventus were asking for €25-30m and Manchester United are ready to meet their demands.

Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reveals United are prepared to offer Ronaldo a deal worth £25m a season at Old Trafford and are set to offer the 36-year-old a two-year deal.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer revealed United were ready to welcome the former Real Madrid star as soon as they learned he was leaving Juventus.

Ronaldo informed his teammates at Juventus that he was leaving today and was seen travelling from Turin in a private plane this afternoon.

Manchester United are reportedly set to re-sign the superstar and will get the go ahead from the Bianconeri.

  1. Easy UCL GROUP for Ronaldo! He was unhappy with Juve squad and Allegri’s coaching .. so look forward to with Ole, Fred, Maguire …..

  2. Thank god and good riddance! Finally Juventus is free to be a team again! It couldn’t come any sooner.
