The English newspaper writes that UEFA is hoping to somehow compromise the 2020-21 season and will meet to discuss how to execute the adjustments and tailor the conclusion of 2019-20 this summer.

One of the hypotheses up for discussion could lead to fewer international breaks for the nations preparing for the European Championship, to pave way for a more intense schedule in the various European Leagues.
