Turkish reports claim that Galatasaray have agreed personal terms with Nicola Zalewski and are finalising the transfer fee with Roma.
According to multiple sources, the plane carrying Galatasaray executives has arrived in Rome this afternoon for crunch talks, where the paperwork should be finalised.
A Spor are confident that they have already agreed personal terms with Zalewski, while the fee should be a relatively simple discussion too at €10m.
Calciomercato.com say the player can massively boost his salary from €350,000 per season to over €2.5m.
Zalewski eager for Galatasaray
The 22-year-old was increasingly frustrated at the lack of regular playing time for Roma, but as a product of their youth academy, any sale fee will qualify as pure profit for the club.
The left-sided winger had been used as a left-back by Jose Mourinho, then moved to his more suited advanced role by Daniele De Rossi.
It is the same position he takes on international duty for Poland, where last week he scored a goal and won two penalties in the 3-2 Nations League victory over Scotland.
He was born and raised in Italy, but chose to represent the nation of his parents.
This would be another fascinating swoop from Serie A for Galatasaray, who already secured Victor Osimhen on loan from Napoli.
The transfer window in Turkey does not close until September 13.
