Reports in Italy suggest Arsenal have agreed terms with Sampdoria midfielder Lucas Torreira.
It was rumoured earlier today that the Gunners had a €30m bid accepted for the Uruguayan, but were struggling to agree personal terms.
However, Gazzetta dello Sport is now reporting that a meeting with Torreira’s agent this afternoon brought significant progress, and there is now a deal in place.

It was rumoured earlier today that the Gunners had a €30m bid accepted for the Uruguayan, but were struggling to agree personal terms.
However, Gazzetta dello Sport is now reporting that a meeting with Torreira’s agent this afternoon brought significant progress, and there is now a deal in place.
The midfielder now just has to work out the final details before signing a five-year contract, with Arsenal beating Napoli and Borussia Dortmund to his signature.
Torreira has a €25m release clause, but the Premier League side have agreed to pay more so they can split the cost over several years.
