Torino have reportedly contacted the FIGC to get clarification on the coronavirus situation at Lazio, after three players were stopped by UEFA this week.

Il Corriere dello Sport has revealed Lazio patron Claudio Lotito considers a possible lawsuit against UEFA, who stopped Lucas Leiva, Thomas Strakosha and Ciro Immobile from travelling to Russia this week.

The Granata have sent a letter to the FIGC and The Lega Serie A, where the Granata ask the Prosecutor’s Office for clarification on the story.

The club wants clarity on the N gene, the one detected in Immobile’s swab that reportedly led UEFA to consider him positive and that Lazio consider part of the coronavirus family but not linked to COVID-19.

Immobile scored a decisive goal in the 4-3 win against Torino last weekend, when the Aquile came back at the death to turn the game around in stoppages.
