According to reports in Italy, Luciano Spalletti has turned down an offer from the Chilean Federation and won’t accept a new job before his contract with Inter expires in June.

The former Roma and Inter coach is reported to be in talks to replace Colombia bound Reinaldo Rueda, becoming the new head coach of Chile national team.

According to FcInternews, however, the Italian tactician has turned down the offer as he wants to see-off his contract with the Nerazzurri who sacked him in summer 2019 to hire Antonio Conte.

According to FcInternews, however, the Italian tactician has turned down the offer as he wants to see-off his contract with the Nerazzurri who sacked him in summer 2019 to hire Antonio Conte.

The report claims Spalletti felt betrayed by the Nerazzurri with whom he had gained two successive Champions League placements.

Spalletti earns €5m-a-year and his contract with the Serie A giants will expire this coming June.

He will only accept new jobs after the expiration of his contract, the report claims.
