As part of that strategy, Sky Sport Italia report this evening that Sarri has spoken to De Ligt by phone, discussing their ideas of football and where the Dutchman will fit into the new Juve set-up.

Even though the initial purposeful lowball offer of €55m plus bonuses was rejected, Juve are lining up a new proposal next week.
