Reports in Turkey claim Roma defender Davide Santon has agreed a loan move to Besiktas.
According to TRT Sport and Fanatik, a deal has been done, the player worked out personal terms and is ready to sign for his new club.
They claim Roma will share the cost of his salary during this one-season loan and it’s not yet clear if there’s an option to buy.
The 29-year-old had also been of interest to Parma, Genoa, Benevento, Osasuna and Lille.

Negotiations with Besiktas dragged on for a few days, but finally seem to have reached a positive conclusion.
Santon started out in the Inter youth academy, progressing to the main squad during their 2010 Treble-winning campaign.
He also had spells at Cesena, Newcastle United and moved to Roma in 2018.
