Sampdoria are reportedly considering bringing back Sinisa Mihajlovic if Marco Giampaolo departs for Napoli this summer.
Giampaolo is widely seen to be Napoli’s first choice to replace Maurizio Sarri, whose future is the subject of much speculation.
If the 50-year-old leaves Samp, Il Secolo XIX believes his position could be filled by Mihajlovic.
The Serbian spent four seasons with the Blucerchiati as a player, before coaching them between 2013 and 2015.
