It’s reported that Inter’s technical co-ordinator Walter Sabatini has offered his resignation, which has not yet been accepted.

The veteran transfer market guru was appointed to co-ordinate between the Nerazzurri and Jiangsu Suning, both owned by Suning Group.

Now though Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that Sabatini is unhappy with his role, and offered his resignation two weeks ago.

The former Roma sporting director feels constrained by Suning, with prospective deals for Ramires, Javier Pastore and Alex Teixeira collapsing in January.

The Chinese owners will not risk breaching Financial Fair Play, so the Beneamata must sell players before they can buy.

In addition, the Beijing government has cracked down on Chinese companies investing abroad, restricting what Suning can invest.

So far the owners have not accepted Sabatini’s resignation, with a meeting scheduled for the coming days to clarify the situation.
